Native Plant Nurseries in Florida

Florida's native plant communities are unlike those of any other state — subtropical flatwoods, scrub, cypress domes, mangroves, and coastal strand communities form a patchwork of habitats shaped by fire, water, and sand. Florida's scrub communities, found only on ancient sand ridges in the peninsular interior, are among the most endangered ecosystems in North America and home to dozens of rare endemic plant species.
