Native Plant Nurseries in Montana

Montana spans the transition from the Northern Rocky Mountains in the west to the Northern Great Plains in the east — two of the least-fragmented landscapes remaining in the lower 48. Western Montana's dense Douglas-fir and ponderosa pine forests give way to mixed-grass prairie as you cross the Continental Divide, and the state's native plant communities are some of the most intact in the country.
