Native Plant Nurseries in Nevada

Nevada is the most arid state in the US and almost entirely covered by the Great Basin — a vast cold desert of sagebrush steppe, salt flats, and isolated mountain ranges. Native Great Basin plants evolved under a specific disturbance and precipitation regime, and their relationship with native bee and pollinator communities is highly specialized. Sagebrush habitat, the keystone ecosystem of the Great Basin, has declined by more than 50%.
